Fazil Say, son of a noted Turkish author, began studying the piano in his native Ankara, and at age 17 won a German Scholarship to study in Dusseldorf, Germany. Mr Say's first U.S. season spans the country, including concerts in Boston, Seattle, Kalamazoo, and New York City.
Abroad, he performed as a soloist with the Berlin Symphony, with the President's Orchestra of Ankara, and in major festivals in Montpellier, Istanbul, and Usedom. Mr. Say is also an avid composer.
